Born in Cincinnati in 1981, Antonio Adams’
statues are wooden androids from a self-empowering fantasy-world.
Antonio’s visual intelligence provides both the puns and
poignancy of a self-made guy. He is master scientist in a new
evolution of “freaks” and “Neanderthals.”
His work is collected nationally, and he has been featured in
newspaper articles and television news stories. His statues
and drawings have been featured at Base Gallery, Visionaries
and Voices, the Pittsburgh Folk Art Exhibit and Symposium, the
Outsider Art Fair in New York City, the America Oh Yes! Gallery
in San Francisco, California, Middletown Fine Arts Center, Fitton
Center for Creative Arts (Hamilton, Ohio), Pyramid Hill Art
Fair, University of Cincinnati Medical Library, Taylor Jamison
Salon and Spa, In the Gallery in Nashville, Tennessee, the TASH
Conference in Anaheim, California, among other places.
