Dan Dagenbach: Dan Dagenbach, born April
8, 1951, works at a sheltered workshop during the day. He is
from Cincinnati. Dan’s work is inspired by cartoons and
movies. His drawings concern a world of innocent sci-fi in which
starry-eyed space-princesses are at the controls of vast space-ships,
searching out the universe for their princes. They have the
innocence of coloring-book caricatures, and the depth of feeling
of opera. Dan’s drawings have been featured at Base Gallery,
Visionaries and Voices, the Pittsburgh Folk Art Exhibit and
Symposium, Middletown Fine Arts Center, Taylor Jamison Hair
Salon, Fitton Center for Creative Arts (Hamilton, Ohio), the
Pyramid Hill Art Fair, and the American Classical Music Hall
of Fame and Museum.
