Carolee Kamlager is not only passionate
about working with disabled individuals, but passionate about
advocating their self-expression. Carolee was the Director of
Adult Services for United Cerebral Palsey, an organization similar
to V & V, for several years. Along with Keith Banner and
Bill Ross, Carolee played a significant role in V & V’s
founding.
As a long-time social worker, Carolee
has spent most of her life working with the disabled, and lists
it as her number one interest. She is also a part-time professor
at the University of Kentucky, and is working on obtaining her
doctorate degree in social work. She would like to see V &
V expand beyond the visual arts, and become more involved in
the Northside community. Carolee is a resident of North Avondale.
