Dan Regenold first became involved with
V & V at the professional level in 2004, when as CEO of
Frame USA, he began donating frames for V & V artwork. As
he began to interact with the artists and witness their incredible
talents, Dan decided he wanted to become further involved, and
involve more of Frame USA’s 85 plus employees. After having
served as a board member for two years, Dan became President
of the Board of Directors of Visionaries & Voices in 2008.
In March 2007, Dan donated 1,900 square feet inside Frame USA
as space for the second V & V studio, which now hosts about
40 artists a week. Dan’s goal is to double the space of
the Tri-County location through a building expansion in 2008.
Also, he hopes the V&V Board will look at adding a third
studio within the next two years. One other thing that he hope
to improve radically is visionariesandvoices.com. “We
have just added the ability to sell our artist’s work
on our web site and this will offer us the possibility of extending
our reach and our artist’s reach across the country,"
Dan said.
Over the years, Dan has worked with Goodwill, giving countless
disabled adults the opportunity to work at Frame USA. Dan enjoys
learning new things everyday from his Goodwill and V & V
counterparts. His professional life has also instilled in him
a high appreciation for the arts, as he’s had a chance
to study many different artists and art forms. Dan also enjoys
tennis, movies, and spending time with his family. He is a resident
of Glendale where he and his wife, Becky own a 124 year old
house that also get to do a lot of work on, but enjoy it!
