Suzanne started working at Visionaries and Voices in 2007, after performing workshops in paper mache the year before. Working at V&V is not a job for her, but a wonderful opportunity to be around art all day and work with other artists. She was attracted to the organization because she wanted to have the opportunity to help others find fulfillment and a sense of purpose and identity through art. Her favorite part of working at V&V is watching the artists grow and being able to experience how art making can enrich people's lives. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from Indiana University and it was during that time in college that she started to focus most of her free time on making art. She is a self taught artist and a realist, interested mostly in the human form. She is primarily painter but is well versed in most other media. She enjoys drawing, paper mache sculpture, landscape design, sewing clothes, and is starting to explore soft sculpture in the form of stuffed animals.
