Kevin White

About Kevin
Kevin White works within his own studio space in the Visionaries & Voices (V&V) Northside Studio. This area evolves and changes daily as Kevin's creations take over and continuously alter the immediate environment that surrounds him in a riot of color and pattern. Currently, he has been engaged in found object sculpture and painting. He incorporates pop cans, cardboard, fabric, computer parts and other materials into multi-dimensional works. After assembling, these pieces are painted over with his signature dots and lines of color. This sculpture/mixed media has taken top priority over the past few months and the process toward color selection has changed from bright fluorescents toward earth tones. Primitive in nature, White's paintings resemble the art of the Australian Aboriginal Indian Tribes and Folk art of the American South.
