About Rob
Rob Macke is an abstract artist that works in a graffiti style and is influenced by his Native American Heritage. His works are compiled in small sketchbooks filled with dense ink drawings of people, animals, and machines. Macke creates work with a complex layering of ink lines that are heavy and dark. Referencing these drawings, Macke selects certain scenes to paint in large format on wood panels. His dense line work opens up on these panels into edgy, colorful graffiti paintings with a centrally located symbolic image. The final pieces are about this iconic person, animal, or machine and the importance it has on his life.

Exhibitions
Rob's work has been exhibited at the V&V Tri-county Studio Second Year Anniversary Celebration, and at the V&V Northside Gallery in ?Wild Life: Animals, Landscapes, and Skin,? and ?Work Hard Think Smart? exhibits. His work has been exhibited this year at the Miami University MUM Exhibition, the Indian Hill Art show and at Redtree Galleries ?Superheros? exhibit.
