“V&V After Dark,” an exhibition of glow in the dark paintings by Visionaries & Voices artists, opens November 12th in the Ruthven Gallery of the Cincinnati Museum Center.  Recently, V&V artists went to renowned Cincinnati painter Tom Bacher’s studio to see his glow in the dark paintings and learn about his painting process.  The artists were so inspired that they have created their own glow in the dark exhibition for Cincinnati Museum Center’s Ruthven Gallery.  Bacher, the inventor of this painting genre developed glow in the dark paint by mixing phosphorescent pigments with acrylic gel medium.  Each painting in “V&V After Dark” represents a personal journey or narrative that each artist has experienced.
