About Victor
Victor Dambowsky is an abstract artist who explores the principles and elements of art through mathematics. He works with ink and is influenced by numbers and how he can arrange them into complex compositions. One will find references to higher math and science along with commentary in regard to his past and present experiences. His flow of consciousness writing technique is very carefully drafted into detailed descriptions that often take on the quality of sprawling city maps and streets that describe real locations. Victor paints in acrylic and while in the past his work was spontaneous his current concentration is in large format with or without preliminary line layout and carefully considered color composition that are apparent in the finished work. While creating mathematical pieces he works with acrylics on panels and paints beautiful abstract paintings. Victor's abstract works show another side of him that's spontaneous and humorous. Currently, Victor is learning the process of printmaking and has finished a new series of prints that explore his abstract style in a smaller format.


Exhibitions
Victor displays an exceptional work ethic. He is self-motivated and works consistently the entire time he is in the studio. Once he became a Next Level Artist his work has shown marked improvement, and he has been propelled to greater thoughtfulness and contemplation in regard to the finished art. As a result, any medium becomes a tool for expression. V.D. is known for his stream of consciousness painting and writing. He utilizes text and abstract painting that are intense and increasingly intimate. He is thrilled to have his work recognized and is inspired to do better and work harder, giving his art more meaning in this way.
