2024 Artist in Residence, Julia Green

Visionaries + Voices’ annual Artist-in-Residence project had its third iteration featuring local artist Julia Green. Julia co-founded DSGN CLLCTV in Northside and has a background in fashion design. For her residency she worked closesly with V+V artists at both studios, altering clothing into wearable narratives outlining their personal stories, creative journeys, and artistic identities. The work produced in our studios as well as with the public in free/open workshops culminated in an exhibition, which opened to the public on July 12th, as well as a fashion show at DSGN CLLCTV.
