As a part of the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial, Visionaries + Voices’s gallery in the Northside Studio will host Picture Perfect, featuring artworks by artists who utilize photography as a starting point and visual reference in their artmaking processes. Snapshots capturing lived experiences, sublime landscapes, portraits of friends and family members, or simply beloved objects, become the springboard for art-making, allowing artists a reference point for their ongoing creative practice.

As a group show that includes artists with and without disabilities, Picture Perfect exhibits both these artists’ final artworks alongside their initial photographic inspirations, demonstrating the various ways in which artists of all disciplines and abilities often rely upon photography to strengthen and deepen the meaning and visual language of their creative output.

This exhibition will be on view October 2nd through November 13th, 2026.
