Renee is an educator, architect, and artist, currently working in puppets and other inhabitable and mechanical objects. Her favorite medium is fun trash shapes. She co-created and produced In the Presence Of for Cincy Fringe 2025 and On Maintenance for Cincy Fringe 2021, and Fishing in the Shade, The Starry Night, Eyebrows, and Cicada Striptease for previous Show of Hands Puppet Festivals.

River Rat Puppet Collective, based in Cincinnati, Ohio aims to create experiences of wonder and to bring puppetry to those who need it most. The group highly values synergistic play and experimentation, with an emphasis on creative reuse materials.
