Paint in the style of iconic american artist and activist, Keith Haring! Participants can expect many motivators by Keith Haring as well as instruction if they would like to create their own subject matter. All levels of painting experience are welcome to this FREE, all abilities + ages workshop.

Please wear clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting acrylic paint on or use our studio aprons!

Teaching Artists:

James Reynolds is a local artist, business owner and educator. With over 20 years of painting experience, he left the world of K-12 teaching to focus on adults having a blast while learning art-history, art-making skills and confidence via (mostly) painting.

Ishmael Williams, born in Cincinnati, has been making art at V+V for over 10 years and has been leading classes with V+V TAP since 2018.  Some of his classes include 2d paper puppet, superhero mashups, and fabric art collage. William’s art style is highly influenced by 90s games; he utilizes clean, strong lines, flat compositions inter-cut with action call-outs, and composition elements of side-scrolling platformers, each piece offers a living, moving world.
