Aaron Rohs is a self-taught artist who discovered he had a knack for drawing in his 30s. He enjoys depicting themes of imagined and historical landscapes, which often feature animated characters from video games, movies, and historical books. He is particularly passionate about world mythologies and likes to remix and re-contextualize historical and contemporary ideas and imagery. Typically working in pencil and oil pastels, with a light touch and a 3D depiction of space, Aaron creates compositions that depict otherworldly figures in both real and imaginary settings.
