Joy Harms
Joy Harms has been a V+V artist since 2011. She works in several different media including illustration, painting, hand-built ceramics, and jewelry making.
She has an acute sense of color and patterning. Drawing from her inspiration of nature, in her 2-D work, Joy typically creates moody night-time scenes of warm sunsets that often feature owls, castles, women, and towers.
Joy also works deftly in ceramics, hand-building gothic “fairy houses” that look like they could be straight out of a Grimm’s Brothers’ book.
She can often be seen wearing one of her very fashionable hand-made necklaces.
