KAY LEWIS

Kay Lewis began making art at V+V. She likes to draw and color, is motivated to sell her art, and has made hundreds of uniquely designed button pins. Kay has been working with yarn as a material, doing weaving on looms, finger crocheting, as well as using plastic grids in her textile work. Her artmaking is colorful regardless of the materials she uses, and she has also made stuffed animals and pillows. Kay has a special affinity for butterflies, because of her friendship with the “Butterfly Lady,” Linda Kunich.
