MILO GLEICH

Milo Gleich (they/them) has been attending the V+V studios for several years now and branching into many different forms of creative production including (but not limited to) ceramics, textile work, illustration, and painting.

A former member of their high school’s set building and costume design crews, Milo switched over to Visual Art classes Senior year because there were no more theater classes left to take.

Milo gravitates towards 3D media because the tactile experience of being able to look at their work from many different angles, remedies the visual-spatial deficits which make 2D rendering so challenging.

Milo’s art making practice reflects their personality. Usually driven by an aesthetic, or a subject of special interest/hyper-fixation, “occasionally,” Milo says, “it is purely just exploring a new technique and playing around with it.”

“I make art because it is fun and a way to express myself and engage with my interests,” Milo says. “I just really enjoy it and watching my ideas come to life.”
