INTRODUCTION TO PUPPET THEATER: STORYTELLING THROUGH MOVEMENT

This workshop focuses on puppet theater acting techniques and teaches the basics of bringing an inanimate object to life. Participants make an easy puppet out of paper and learn how to operate it in groups, as well as individually. Please, dress comfortably, as the workshop utilizes movement.

About the Teaching Puppeteer:

Daniela N Nenova (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, performer and educator with over 10 years of experience, focusing on puppet theater and exploring fringe and bizarre art mediums and storytelling. They got their BFA in Puppet Theater at the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts in Bulgaria, Europe, where they were born and raised. Currently residing in Cincinnati, Daniela's signature style of art is "finding beauty in the deemed ugly".
